It's been several weeks since I did a "It's Monday!" post. Now I'm back, and eager to share some of what I've been reading over the past two weeks. Keep in mind, during the week of February 27-March 4, I was on vacation in Costa Rica and was able to get lots of great reading in. Most of the books listed below have been reviewed on this blog.
Here's what I've been reading since my last post:
32. 10 Things Every Writer Needs To Know by Jeff Anderson (finished 2/21) Awesome professional book. Buy it now!
33. The Dressmaker by Kate Alcott (finished 2/25) decent book about the Titanic, read the e-book.
34. Stay With Me by Paul Griffin (finished 2/27) predictable boy-meets-girl-meets-dog story
35. Babe in Boyland by Jody Gehrman finished 2/27) I think there was a movie in the 80s with same plot. Predictable.
36. Steampunk! edited by Kelly Link and Gavin J. Grant (finished 2/28) Cool collection of steampunk short stories.
37. The Slayer Chronicles: First Kill by Heather Brewer (finished 2/29) New series by author of Vladimir Todd series.
38. Can I See Your ID? by Chris Barton (finished 3/1) Great non-fiction book of 10 people who assumed identities.
39. Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith (finsihed 3/2) Fun to read teen romance
40. See You at Harry's by Jo Knowles (finished 3/2) LOVED this one. Watch for it to come out in May.
41. Same Sun Here by Silas Howe and Neela Vaswani (finished 3/3) Beautifully written book about friendship and family.
42. The Returning by Christine Hinwood (finished 3/5) Confusing and weird.
43. Girl Wonder by Alexa Martin (finished 3/8) Great self-discovery book for older readers.
44. The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab (finished 3/9) Well-written fantasy story with a touch of romance.
